Walter and Edith is ran by Hannah Gawne, a traditional printmaker and designer based in the North East of England.

 

She currently works as a traditional printmaking technician in higher education and has an MA in Design.  ​

 

Her current work focuses on community engagement and empowerment through the democratisation of traditional printmaking skills.

​

Hannah regularly runs workshops for varied age groups and abilities in communities, art spaces and festivals.  She regularly exhibits and sells her prints at print fayres around the north of England.
