This display was outside a school in Tower Hamlets, London.

The display reminded me of the small allotment project that has been part of the MA and the pupils drawings.

The E1 project at the tower hamlets school works with a few schools in the area and helps to empower the community by raising the aspirations of the families, pupils and staff. seemed

It seemed very reflective in the values and motivations for the allotment project

Bob and Roberta Smiths work in the Tate modern

Each of the 24 placards reflected on stories and feeling from residents, they raise the voices of the residents and as Bob and Roberta Smith commented on the works...

'I thought i was making a painting about a housing estate, but actually Ive been painting about the desire to be heard'

shows the importance of art and design and the difference both can make
