Community Is Letterpress Print

I developed a letterpress print to experiment with setting type up on the new letterpress press and to see if this could link in with my work. I also developed this as I wanted to use the Riso machine but couldn't get a space on the press so thought would work with Letterpress whilst I waited.

I like the prints but they do not sit in with the body of my project and work.

I think that this has been a really good exercise though, as although I enjoyed printing these it has shown me that I'm developing a clear visual language with the rest of my work and these prints do not sit alongside this. I may develop some laser cut shapes for WeType to use on the letterpress press and the time and experience I've spent developing this print will help toward that.
