Making a small zine from the initial print
HOW DO YOU WANT THE WORLD TO LOOK?
Cropping small sections of text
WORLD OK?
HOW DO YOU
WANT
Paper stencil for screen print to fill letter gaps in text
Using a subtle colour so that the screen printed elements do not dominate or seem heavy
translucent colours will also create interesting overlays on letterpress printed areas
Letters are filled with a simple shape rather than trying to emulate the fonts used in letterpress experiment
Images have then also been scanned digitally to edit and manipulate further
The original print was printed on Hosho paper and shows interesting translucency to the print below (example on the right)
