Quiet Protest

-I remembered about this print I made in the first lockdown and thought it was a good example of quiet protest. I wasn't thinking about this at the time and just wanted to get the words down, but it works well in that way. I've listed the process below to make it.

-I used mark making with hand made brushes to create the black marks the scanned those in and live traced them to clean them up

I added text and cropped the marks in Illustrator

-I wanted to make the words become lost within the marks to reflect the sentiment

-I think this may be a good image to use as a sticker or print to share some positivity

-I think I may use this process in the future to make a print relevant to one of the small projects
