I've met up with my contact at the school again to update on the allotment project. I handed over a few of the first versions of the Riso printed designs, and they were really happy with them as shown below.
I explained I want to develop the rainbows print and change it to edit the word, FOR so it is stronger within the design. Ive edited this digitally and its ready to print.
We also talked about the larger prints to go in the allotment space and have agreed on 2 large canvases (approx 1x1m) printed on canvas and so that the prints can come in and out of storage.
We also discussed the opening event of the allotment. This will take place around April so I have agreed to make the information zine as previously agreed and a leaflet to promote the opening event for the allotment space.
The information zine is developing well. Im not too sure on the front page so need to develop and work on this but overall i think its pulling together. I was wondering if to change the red for yellow, as the green and yellow will then make up the colours of the school and also 2 colours with links closer to a garden space. Im going to try this but the risk will be that the yellow may fade away a little too much.
