Links to other brands and companies with similar branding/ideas

Updated: Jan 16, 2022

I bought a few greetings cards from the company, Ooh Deer (https://ohhdeer.com)

In the pack was the card above, which was designed by Hello Lucky..

and this specific card was then also in collaboration with Be the Change, the blurb on the back of the card states..

Be the change is a craft book that inspires youth to use their creativity to get involved in community service and civic action.

A portion of proceeds from be the change are donated to WE schools, which empowers young people in North America and the UK to take action on local and global issues by providing the tools they need to make a difference.

I felt that the description of what Be the change and WE.org wanted to achieve were very similar to my own goals, also under the name, WE. I was a little concerned when I first found this to if I should change the name to my branding but I feel like this is far enough away and the fact I also go under Walter and Edith both bring a gap between the two. Its quite empowering in a way to see that others have a similar idea and it would be very hard to get away from any company or branding that has used the term WE to incorporate ideas of collaboration and community.

I also found this set of hoodies in TK Maxx..

The Each Other brand has a collaboration in which money is donated to the Lady Gaga, 'Born This Way' foundation. This set of hoodies were designed to empower young people and to encourage collaboration through the ME WE slogan used on the pieces.

Again, its good to see something that is disconnected from my branding and ideas enough, but still encompasses the same ideals of collaboration and community.

-I also found this link to a project Tonys Chocolate are promoting, called Conversation bars.

-Through this project, Tonys Chocolate are trying to start conversations about some of the biggest issues such as equality and justice.

-You also receive a set of conversation cards to help get the conversations started.

-The bars are designed so you can also draw on the packs your answers, similar to my community is postcards.
