Community Is Postcards - Printing

I decided to print the postcards discussed in this post as Riso prints to make it efficient to produce lots of copies and to make the printing method as sustainable as possible.

To achieve this I colour separated the layers and then printed these on both sides. I managed this in InDesign to make sure my registration was correct. The images were aligned to the middle of the page to make registration easier, although on long print runs this does add one extra cut when cutting them down to the square shape.

When printing, the text was slightly misaligned but I kept it like this as I felt it gave it more character and movement.

The postcards were printed on 170gsm natural colour stock

I plan when printing out the next runs to print these in different colours, especially when editing the information for other small projects.

Im really pleased with these, Im really happy I made these square too as I think it gives them extra interest and sets them apart from other flyers.
